Blacktronners, I bring news!

Today I did some spring cleaning and removed some items that hadn't sold and were actually filling slots I needed for new stuff. As of today, our Blacktron Non-Standard TEES collection has been reduced to 6 best-selling T-shirts plus the Bright Green Blacktron 'B' T-Shirt, as I love that design, but if by the end of August it doesn't sell even 1 unit, it will be retired too.

Our Blacktron Standard Gear collection was also reduced to its original state with just our two best sellers, Blacktron Space Force T-shirts, the 2 Blacktron Space Force Pint Glasses, and the Blacktron Space Force Mug. The rest of the items that lived rent-free there were moved to the new Summer Collection and Winter Collection.

In the Summer Collection, you will find our 2 Beach Towels (Blacktron Space Force Beach Towel and Deadly Night Shade Beach Towel), the Blacktron Space Force Swim Trunks, and the 2 Flip-Flops (BlacktronSF Custom Flip-Flops and Galactic Green Flip-Flops).

While in the Winter Collection, you will find the Blacktron Space Force Holiday Ugly Sweater (Space Police, M:Tron, and Ice Planet will be available until September), the 2 Blacktron Hoodies, the 2 Long Sleeve T-Shirts, and our Blacktron Crew Socks.

I also introduced a collection which, well, I designed mostly for me - Ghostbusters, but if you want any of the designs, they are also available in 2 colors - Tan (like the Ghostbusters uniform) and Black, cause everything looks cool in black.

Blacktronners, today I turn 47, but I want to break protocol and be the one giving you a gift.

Back on February 6th, 2025, when I decided to move our merchandising store — which had already been giving us plenty of trouble — to a new and highly recommended host with much more visibility, I truly believed it would benefit us.
Well… I was wrong.

Things are not going well. This year (2026) we’ve made only four sales, and not even the 25% discount I launched at the end of last month helped. So this morning, I realized something had to change. I never created the Blacktron Space Force Shop to make a profit — I created it to showcase my LEGO designs to a wider audience. And when the site gets 328 visitors and only four sales, it’s clear that something is seriously off.

I thought: maybe the problem is my designs — nobody is obligated to like them. Or maybe it’s because I restricted myself to the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). And let’s be honest: times are rough, wars everywhere, prices skyrocketing like never before, and just look at the absurd prices LEGO is charging nowadays to understand what I mean.

So I flipped the script. I took the website down this morning and spent the day adjusting the prices of all items to values I feel comfortable with. Yes, lowering the prices means I have to cancel all existing promotions, including reducing the members’ discount from 20% to 10%. And yes, I will probably lose money with this move — but I honestly don’t care. My goal has always been to reach more people with my work and to promote our great community. And that’s exactly what I intend to keep doing.

The Blacktron Space Force High Council acknowledges that we are a bit late with this statement, but we all share the sorrow over the 12 tons of KitKat products stolen a few days ago.

Throughout April we will be celebrating Blacktron Day (the original Blacktron release date — April 1st). Here in our shop, we’re extending the celebration with 25% off all items. Following a scheduled blackout period — the first since the establishment of our Merchandising Division — the Depot has been streamlined. Inventory has been reduced from 120 units to 45 mission‑critical assets, ensuring that for Cycle 2026 we focus exclusively on essential gear for field operations and civilian morale.

But do not misinterpret this reduction as stagnation. High Command will continue to authorize monthly thematic operations, including limited‑time promotions.

OPERATION: COPPER JUSTICE

Effective immediately, all Space Police‑classified items receive a 10% tactical discount.

Yes, operatives — for the first time in BTSF history, we are extending strategic goodwill to our long‑time rivals. Because the truth is simple:

There is no Blacktron without Space Police. There is no Space Police without Blacktron.

And we all remember what happened the last time LEGO deployed a Space Police wave without Blacktron presence… Their theme collapsed. They require us as much as we require them. Balance must be maintained.

⟡ Inventory Adjustments ⟡

Several items have been temporarily removed from circulation. Some may return in future cycles; others are being re‑engineered.

Sticker Division Update

Due to civilian feedback regarding cost inefficiency, holographic stickers have been withdrawn. Although our units measured:

• 3″×3″ (8×8 cm)

• 4″×4″ (10×10 cm)

• 5.5″×5.5″ (14×14 cm)

…the pricing ($7.50–$8) was deemed suboptimal.

High Command is negotiating with the manufacturing outpost to produce multi‑design sticker sheets (6–10 stickers per sheet). If negotiations succeed — and they rarely do — deployment is expected before the end of February 2026.

⟡ Uniform Division Update ⟡

For 2026, all T‑shirt schematics have been upgraded to include big‑size variants. Due to increased production costs, a new pricing matrix has been authorized.

This is the least glorious part of the transmission, but necessary to prevent another incident like the “Factory Suspension Crisis” of two cycles ago, when our prices were so low that production was halted.

Training gear for our youngest cadets. Sticker sheets will be stationed here once deployed.

A rotating collection updated monthly or bi‑monthly. Permanent status may be granted if civilian demand reaches critical mass.
