The FTL-capable Type 6894H Invader Heavy Hauler is the new mainstay of resupply and outpost establishment. A single 6984H can carry an entire Blacktron outpost to colonize the furthest reaches of space. Lightly defended the Type 6894H is dependent on escorts and stealth. Although the main cockpit can detach in case of emergency and defend the haul, this is least preferable to dedicated escorts or convoy security. The Type 6894H’s cargo capacity rivals most capital ships and can be produced more economically.
Although there is no set limit on how long the Type 6894H can be assembled, the larger the total haul is, the slower the acceleration and maneuverability. The optimal configuration is three couplers, along with four Type 6954 class drive engines and a forward sensor package. This is because the standard Invader engine delivers insufficient thrust given the new mass of the vessel.
If you are looking to establish a colony in deep space, look no further than the Type 6894H for your fleet. Although excessive lengths can be achieved, it is still not a capital ship, however, Blacktron factions can conduct commerce and trade much more cost-efficiently.
